Hello, my name is Christy Haig and I am the owner and a teacher here at DigitalScrapbookingClasses.com. I am married to a wonderful man and have two sons born in 2005 and 2008. In addition to being captivated by these three boys in my life, I spend time scrapbooking, reading/chatting online, volunteering at my church, and watching movies.

I always wanted to be a scrapbooker, but didn’t have the money to spend on the supplies or the desire to get them all out and clean them all up all the time. When surfing the web while I was pregnant with my first, I came across digital scrapbooking. I gave it a try and was instantly hooked – I could be a creative artist and preserve all of my memories and photographs while still being the left brained, organized, computer nerd that I am.

I have a degree in teaching and taught special education for 5 years before having my boys. So it was only a matter of months after learning to scrapbook digitally myself, that I was teaching others how to do the same. This passion led to my creating lessons for others online and eventually to the creation of this web site. I hope that it helps you learn and feel confident in digital scrapbooking so that you can become passionate about this great hobby too!
